<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus designed such that soft keys displayed on each of a plurality of display parts are operable by touch panels fewer than the display parts. <P>SOLUTION: The image forming apparatus 1 has an operating device 20 including a main operating section 21 that has a first display part 21a, and a sub-operating section 22 that has a second display part 22a smaller than the first display part 21a.
