Hose, free from inserts, consists of extrudable polyester-urethane, which can be heated on mandrel, based on pre-adduct of benzene-dicarboxylic acid polyester and tolylene diisocyanate and opt. additives with NCO index 60-95, which is reacted with dimerised tolylene diisocyanate and diols. These polyester-urethanes can be processed in rubber industry extruders, so that hoses of different diameter, wall thickness and length can be produced without difficulty. This hose is esp. suitable for fuel (petrol plus additives), needing neither reinforcing fabric nor inner lining. Diffusion and swelling are extremely low. Elastic polyester-urethane hose, resistant to fuel. |
