The steel of superior workability and corrosion resistance has the compn. 0.06-0.15% C, 0.3-1.0% Si, 13-16% Cr, 7-12% Mn, 0.05-0.15% N, 1-4% Cu, balance Fe. The steel is fully austenitic after subjecting to a heat treatment in known manner.
