PURPOSE:To improve brake performance, suppressing the increase of cost, by arranging two friction side-plates made of carbon-carbon composite onto the both sides of a disc and installing a mechanism for restraining the revolution movement which is connected with a bell mouth inside. CONSTITUTION:Two friction side-plates made of carbon-carbon composite are arranged onto the both sides of the conventional metal disc 4, and the both are connected through a spline 6 installed at the top edge of a bell mouth 1. Further, an end plate 7, front plate 5, and a front-plate pressing bolt 3 are installed. Since the carbon-carbon composite is used only for the surface part of the disc 4, the brake performance can be improved, suppressing the increase of cost. |
