摘要 PURPOSE:To permit automatic winding for obtaining an arbitrary three-dimensional configuration and contrive the improvement of productivity as well as the stabilizing of the quality of the title core member by a method wherein a mold jig is put on a turn table and a multi- joint robot is provided with a guide jig for resin impregnated long fibers to wind them around the mold jig. CONSTITUTION:A plurality of mold jigs 5A-5C are attached onto one set of turn table 6 and the main bodies 8A-8C of robots, corresponding to respective mold jigs, are arranged around the turn table 6. The operations of the turn table 6 and the plurality of robot main bodies 8A-8C are controlled synchronizedly by one set of controller 9'. Long fibers 2 are pulled out of a bobbin 1 and are impregnated with resin by passing them through an impregnating device 3, further, are guided to the mold jig 5 through a tensioner 10 and a guide jig 7 and one end thereof is secured to the mold jig 5. Thereafter, the controller 9 is started, then, the turn table 6 is rotated, the main bodies of the robots are driven in synchronizing with the rotation of the turn table, the resin impregnated long fibers 4 are wound automatically and sequentially around the mold jigs 5 so as to obtain three-dimensional configurations and, finally, the core member W of a steering wheel, which is provided with a predetermined configuration, may be completed.
