DRIVING METHOD OF SOLID-STATE IMAGE SENSOR

PURPOSE: A method for driving a solid state image sensor is provided to improve a dynamic range by raising periodically a voltage applied to a substrate and removing an over-input light. CONSTITUTION: A high pulse is applied to a transfer gate. The second voltage higher than the first voltage applied to a substrate is applied to the substrate before a moving point t1 of a signal charge collected in an n-type photo diode. The over-charge is discharged outside the substrate. Accordingly, the charge of Q0 remains on a region of the photo diode. The voltage of the substrate returns to an initial state and the photo diode receives input light corresponding to the time t1.
