<p>An explosive is disclosed which has a water-immiscible organic fuel as a continuous phase, an emulsified aqueous inorganic oxidizer salt solution as a discontinuous phase; an emulsifier and a solid density reducing agent. The emulsifier is a derivative of polypropene or polybutene, and expanded organic microspheres having a nonpolar surface and comprising homo-, co-, or ter- polymers of vinyl monomers are used as the density reducing agent.</p> |
