PURPOSE:To install a cylindrical chip part at a position, where the chip part must be mounted, by discriminating as to whether or not the chip part is fitted into the groove under a suction nozzle. CONSTITUTION:A nozzle 12 is turned so as to be conformed to the direction of a chip part 4 to be sucked on the basis of the direction of the groove 47 of the suction nozzle 12 at the rotary position of an origin stored in a RAM and aligned with the direction of the chip part 4, thus sucking the chip part 4. The direction of the part 4 is recognized by a recognition station, the displacement angle of the direction of the part 4 and '0 deg.' as the direction of the groove and a holding part-to-groove displacement allowable angle stored in the RAM are compared, and the chip part 4 is not set up to a printed board 5 when the displacement angle is larger than the allowable angle. |
