<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a low-cost method for obtaining temperature of fed fluid from a pump without using a temperature sensor which can be easily handled. <P>SOLUTION: The method for obtaining temperature of the fed fluid from a centrifugal pump that is driven by a permanent magnet motor of which rotor rotates in a container filled with fluid. Rotor temperature Tm is estimated based on an electric variable of the permanent magnet motor, and temperature of the fed fluid is determined based on the rotor temperature Tm. In the method, the temperature of the fed fluid from a circulation pump driven by a permanent magnet synchronism motor can be measured without using a sensor. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
