PURPOSE:To provide a data display device capable of invariably setting a proper display range and displaying data in a limited display screen. CONSTITUTION:A wrist watch 11 has internal circuits such as a controller, a pressure sensor, an arithmetic section, a timer, a RAM, and a display drive section, the atmospheric pressure is measured by the pressure sensor at every measurement period set by a key input, altitude data are calculated from the measured atmospheric pressure, old data are moved to the left in sequence, and new data are displayed at the right end on a graph display section 12. The upper limit of a display scale is expanded or shrunk for display in response to the values of the data. Whenever new data are inputted, the tendency of the data to be inputted next time is predicted, and the upper limit and lower limit of a display range can be changed based on the prediction. When there are old data not shown in a display screen, the display is blinked to report the existence of data outside the display screen in any case. |
