摘要 <p>1335998 Preparation of trichloroethylene and other chlorinated ethylene derivatives ELECTRO-QUIMICA DE FLIX SA 23 Dec 1970 24 Dec 1969 61180/70 Heading C2C Trichloroethylene is produced in a multistage process comprising: (1) preparing 1,2- dichloroethane by chlorinating ethylene at 15-80‹ C. in a packed reactor (as defined) containing liquid 1,2-dichloroethane, into which the ethylene is fed together with a dry chlorinating agent which is chlorine containing 0-50% by volume of gaseous hydrogen chloride; (2) preparing vinyl chloride by dehydrochlorinating 1,2-dichloroethane from stage (1) at 200-400‹ C. in a reactor charged with a catalyst of BaCl 2 on activated carbon; (3) preparing 1,1,2-trichloroethane by chlorinating vinyl chloride at 10- 90‹ C. in a packed reactor containing liquid 1,1,2-trichloroethane into which vinyl chloride from stage (2) is fed together with the chlorinating agent specified above and any acetylene produced in stage (2) and fed with the vinyl chloride being chlorinated at the same time; (4) preparing 1,1-dichloroethylene and both 1,2- dichloroethylenes by dehydrochlorinating in the vapour phase 1,1,2-trichloroethane from stage 3 at 200-400‹ C. in a reactor charged with the catalyst defined above for stage (2); (5) preparing 1,1,2,2-and 1,1,1,2-tetrachloroethanes by chlorinating the mixture of the three trichloroethylenes from stage (4) at 10-90‹ C. in a packed reactor as in stage (1) containing 1,1,2,2-tetrachloroethane, into which said mixture is fed together with the chlorinating agent defined above; (6) preparing trichloroethylene by dehydrochlorinating the mixed tetrachloroethanes from stage 5 at 100-300‹ C. in a reactor charged with the catalyst defined above for stage (2). Pentachloroethane may be prepared by chlorinating trichloroethylene prepared above in a concentration higher than 85% by wt. with out separation at 50-110‹ C. in a packed reactor containing liquid pentachloroethane by means of the chlorinating agent utilized above; this pentachloroethane may be dehydrochlorinated at 80-300‹ C. in a reactor charged with the catalyst employed in stage (2) above to give perchloroethylene.</p>
