Tool for fixing a clip 10 intended preferably for electrical cables to a base, where the clip is loop- shaped with shanks 9 in an installed position of the clip directed out from the base and equipped with a principally centrally-positioned spike 8 or the like directed towards the shanks for driving into the base, which tool 1 comprises a shaft 2, a spindle 3 positioned centrally in the shaft and a clip holder 4. The clip holder 4 comprises a U-shaped claw or loop consisting of a waist 11 with a hole going right through and two sprung shanks 6, 7 with at the ends of the shanks external recesses 19 for holding the shanks 9 of the clips. The U- shaped claw is threaded and moveable on the spindle 3 so that the end of the spindle 5 can be brought into contact with the fixing point of the spike 8 in the clip 10 so that regardless of the size of the clip an impact on the tool 1 is always transferred directly to the spike 8. <IMAGE> |
