PURPOSE:To maintain the effect of disposal of a pad rubber by forming the pad rubber between the end sections of a forward belt ply and an opposite belt ply by using a band-shaped rubber member, in which upper and lower narrow width surface and broad width surface approximately run parallel and which has an approximately trapezoidal sectional shape. CONSTITUTION:Forward belt plies 20, 30, cords of which are tilted to a tire equatorial surface A-A', are wound, a side edge on the steep slant face 78 side of a broad width surface 74 is arranged to the side edges of the forward belt plies 20, 30 in a member, which is composed of a band-shaped rubber member having an approximately trapezoidal sectional shape, upper and lower sections of which have approximately parallel narrow width surface 72 and broad width surface 74, and both sides of which have a gentle slant face 76 and a steep slant face 78 respectively, and wound on the forward belt plies 20, 30, thus forming a pad rubber 70. An opposite belt ply 40, a cord of which is tilted in the opposite direction to the forward belt plies 20, 30 to the tire equitorial surface A-A' and which has width narrower than the forward belt ply, is wound on the forward belt plies and the pad rubber 70. |
