PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a photoreceptor unit that can reduce a situation where an image defect occurs during image formation after a photoreceptor unit is attached to an apparatus body of an image forming apparatus even when vibration is applied to the photoreceptor unit including a separation member engaging with a gear.SOLUTION: A photoreceptor unit comprises a separation maintaining member that includes an engaging part capable of engaging with a photoreceptor gear to receive a driving force, and separates a photoreceptor and a charging roller from each other through engagement of the engaging part with the photoreceptor gear and receives the driving force of the photoreceptor gear to rotate so as to release the separation state. The engaging part includes a plurality of projection parts projecting toward the photoreceptor gear and bottom face parts between the adjacent projection parts, and one of the tip of a gear tooth of the photoreceptor gear and the tip of the projection part can be in contact with the bottom face part or a tooth bottom part between the gear teeth.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 9 |
