PURPOSE:To attain a paint-out in consideration of the cell shape of a set part even at the time of setting a square and round in a chart by deciding the shape of a cell in the chart based on information in a chart data storage part, and painting out it by a prescribed pattern. CONSTITUTION:At the time of indicating an intersected point in the chart to be displayed on a CRT 8 by an inputting part 6, a CPU 1 retrieves the ruled line data of a ruled line with the indicated point as a start point or an end point from a horizontal ruled line storage part 4-1 and a vertical ruled line storage part 4-2. Next, data related with the square and round are inputted from the inputting part 6, and the CPU 1 sets the square and round information at the horizontal ruled line data or the vertical ruled line data. Then, the CPU 1 retrieves cell data related with the cell connected with the indicated point in a cell information storage part 4-3, and sets the square and round information at the pertinent cell data. At the time of replotting the cell, coordinates indicating the ruled lines surrounding the entire cells connected with the set point at which the square and round is set are calculated, and the plotting of the lines and the painting-out in the cell are operated based on them. |
