PURPOSE:To obtain auxiliary magnetic fierce by a coil pattern, to lower the impedance of a magnetic head to achieve high speed inversion and to prevent the adverse effect or the optical characteristic of an optical head and to prevent the optical head from becoming heavy. CONSTITUTION:The coil pattern 41 consisting of a transparent conductive layer such as an ITO is formed on the surface of the objective lens 33 of the optical head in the magnetic head of a high speed magnetic field modulation recording system. The adverse effect on the lens 33 by the coil pattern 41 is eliminated by the transparent conductive layer 43 having equal optical film thickness, which fills up space in the coil pattern 41, or by making the coil pattern a Fresnel zone plate. The coil pattern 41 is constituted of a pair of common electrode parts 41a extending in the diameter direction of the lens 33 and a concentric circle state coil part 41b extending between the electrodes 41a. |
