A lamp (1) of the kind which in a detachable way immediately may be mounted by simple mechanical engagement with a separate lamp bracket (13, 14), which may be mounted on a bicycle, comprises an electronic circuit in which one or more light emitting diodes are connected with one or more lithium batteries through a switch which may be controlled by an external magnet. The lamp bracket (13, 14) cooperating with the lamp (1) is constructed of or contains a permanent magnetic material or a material which may be permanently magnetized.
