PURPOSE:To display and report the remaining storage capacity of a storage means for data input. CONSTITUTION:The remaining capacity of the storage part is counted to check whether or not the writable area in a RAM is less than 10 display lines; when >=10 lines can not be written, the number of writable lines is displayed on the display surface of a CRT display 5. When the character lines which can be inputted to the storage part decreases and, for example, the remaining capacity of the storage part reaches 10 lines, '10' is displayed at the right lower part on the CRT display 5. The counted value is decreased by one each time the lines are scrolled up by one line as a carriage return or characters are inputted, and when there is no line left in the storage part, '0' is displayed. |
