PURPOSE: To provide an ignition device for an internal combustion engine formed into small size to lighten weight by eliminating necessity for separately providing a radiating plate. CONSTITUTION: A device has an iron core part 1 of winding a primary/secondary winding 25, 27 and a power module 7 of including a power transistor connected in series to the primary winding 25 to supply an igniting current to the primary winding 25 controlled so as to generate high voltage in the secondary winding 27. This power module 7 is set up on the core part 1, to make this core part 1 serve as a radiating unit of the power module 7. |
