The box container consists of two halves (1,2). The two halves are joined by one or more hinges (4). Each half has one edge (3) adjacent to a matching edge and providing the fixture for the hinges. Each half has zones (1a,2a) which are immediately adjacent to the matching zone when they are in the closed condition. The zones provide space for the hinge pin (4a).
