PURPOSE: A generator of circular polarized waves is provided to confirm the structure of a generator with eyes of a consumer as well as to maintain the performance of a microwave oven in the optimum state all the times. CONSTITUTION: A generator of circular polarized waves is acted by the steps of; guiding electromagnetic waves oscillated from an antenna(31) of a magnetron(30) along the inside of a wave guide(20) when starting a microwave oven; transferring the electromagnetic waves to a cooking chamber(12) through a horizontal and a vertical slots(21,22); and irradiating the electromagnetic waves as circular polarized waves to the cooking chamber. A guide cap(40) is installed inside of the wave guide to prevent itself from being separated from the wave guide if a user separates the wave guide. Therefore, the generator prevents food remnants in the cooking chamber from being introduced into the wave guide.
