METHOD FOR PREVENTING EFFLUX OF SLAG IN STEEL TAPPING IN CONVERTER

PURPOSE: Provided is a method for preventing the efflux of a slag in steel tapping in a converter which is to be attributed to make a high purified steel by blocking the voltex development generally caused by the conventional ore-refining of the converter. CONSTITUTION: The method comprises mounting a plug(8) for blowing gas which has are refractory and has also one or more of 4 mm or less inner diameter of a stainless-based tube in an inner zone, wherein the distance between the center of the tube and the center of a steel tapping door(5) is maintained 3 to 5 folds of diameter relative to those of the steel tapping doors, the tapping for an ingot steel into a medullary cavity after the ore refine-treating of the converter(1) is performed by blowing gas through the plug for blowing gas at the fluid amounts of 0.004 to 0.01 Nm3/Ton-min of the ingot steel. Thereby, it is accomplished to have the effect for the high purification of the ingot steel and the reduction for loading at work, in addition to the reduction of the input amounts of an auxiliary source necessary for working.
