A canvas sling conveyor has an endless traction member (1) guided over driving drums (2), tail pulleys (4) and snub pulleys (6). The canvas sling conveyor has at least two mutually spaced carrier belts (8, 10) between which are arranged a plurality of mutually spaced traverses (12) whose ends are secured on the carrier belts (8, 10). Between the traverses (12) are suspended canvas slings (48) having a bottom wall (24) made or rubber or of a rubber-like material. Each traverse (12) has a flat surface (21) for securing the bottom wall (24) which encloses an angle with the plane of the carrier belts. Thanks to this predetermined inclined arrangement of the canvas slings (48), a good reception and distribution of the bulk materials is ensured. |
