<p>PURPOSE:To provide a paper cassette wherein a high quality printing can be embodied by avoiding dust while reducing the cost, by changing a position of a cassette cover part moved and built with a paper cassette main unit so as to place it in an almost sealed condition. CONSTITUTION:A recessed part 1d is formed in both sides by each one part, in side surfaces of a paper cassette main unit. By engaging protruded parts 17a, 17b with any of the recessed parts 1a and 1b, 1c and 1d of the paper cassette main unit 1, two kinds of engaging positions can be taken. When a paper cassette is removed from a printer unit and stored as a paper cassette single unit, a cassette cover 2 is reversed in a 180 deg.C direction to cover the paper cassette main unit to its front end part of respectively engaging the recessed part 1d with the protruded parts 17a and 17b. Thus at the storage time, dust can be prevented from adhering to paper, to prevent a bad influence from being given at the printing time.</p> |
