PURPOSE:To prevent occurrence of accidental deviation of hands at the pulling or pushing operation of crown by relating to releasing or contacting of a braking lever from or to the gear constituting wheel train to the positions of stem. CONSTITUTION:In the ordinray position of a stem 2 the brake part 5b of a braking lever 5 is away from a third wheel and pinion 10, but as the crown is begun to be pulled and the stem 2 moves upward, a setting lever 3 turns clockwise and the braking lever 5 begins to turn counterclockwise because the pin 3a of the setting lever 3 slides along the crooked hole 5a. When the stem 2 comes to the neighborhood at the intermediate of the ordianry position and hand setting position, the brake part 5b strongly presses the third wheel and pinion 10 and therefore turning of the hands during operation is prevented. When pulling-out of the stem 2 is finished, te braking lever 5 restores the original state and the brake part 5b of the braking lever 5 and the third wheel and pinion 10 detach, making possible hand setting. |
