PURPOSE:To attain a wide visual field and a large aperture by reflecting light on one reflective curved surface twice. CONSTITUTION:An incident beam of light is reflected once on a face A of a cylindrical lens main body 1 as shown by an arrow an reaches a face B of the main body 1, and a reflected beam (b) of light is reflected again on the face A of the main body 1 as shown by an arrow a' and is converged on a face D. Since light is condensed twice as shown by arrows (a) and a', a short focal length is attained while drastically reducing aberrations.
