PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high tension cable cap coupling structure ensuring high sealability, and the reliability and durability of an electrical connection part, regarding a structure for coupling a high tension cable cap fitted to the end of a high tension cable used in the ignition circuit of an internal combustion engine, to an electrode tower such as a distributor. SOLUTION: The outer cylinder part 3 of a high tension cable cap A is internally provided with an inner cylinder part 5 of inverted truncated cone form for covering a terminal fitting 4. Also, a conical receptive part 10 is formed on the end of an electrode tower T, and the internal cylinder part 5 is coupled to the receptive part 10. Furthermore, an engagement hook 6 formed on the external cylinder part 3 and an engagement step part 11 on the electrode tower T are engaged with each other, thereby sealing the electrode tower T. |
