PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make designing efficient, to simplify constitution and to reduce cost by using a CPU compositely controlling camera sequence with plural kinds of cameras having different functions in common. SOLUTION: A master CPU set in accordance with the functions peculiar to various kinds of cameras out of plural functions forming a series of camera sequence is provided in a camera main body 100, and a slave CPU 201 set in accordance with the functions common to various kinds of cameras is provided at a camera back cover part 200. The CPU 201 has general applicability of being used also for another camera. Plural operation switches 207 controlling and commanding the function of the camera are connected to the back cover part 200. Which of switches is operated is detected by a switch information reading means 206. The instructed content of operation by the detected switch is decoded by the CPU 201, and transmitted to the master CPU on the camera main body 100 side through an interface 209 so as to execute the designated content. |
