PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a nonaqueous electrolyte battery with excellent reliability for sealing even if a battery container of laminated sheet is used. SOLUTION: This nonaqueous electrolyte battery is provided with a generation element 2, a battery container 3 for accommodating the generation element 2 and a nonaqueous electrolyte filled in the battery container 3, and the battery container 3 is constituted by partially welding resin films of laminated sheets. A projection 32 is disposed on a border 31 between a welded part and the inside space of the battery container 3.
