Removable slipper (1) has, on outer wall (8), initial cut-out section (9) defining contour of sensitive zone (10,11,12) on user's foot. This allows pressure exerted on foot to be attenuated. It also gives possibility of modifying initial fitting volume of slipper either to give space to foot or to reduce this space and enable insertion of wedge of thickness different to cut-out wall thickness.
