<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To execute the transference of slabs in a slab yard exactly and rapidly, to reduce the transposition work of the slabs and also to shorten the time till the slab is charged into a heating furnace. SOLUTION: When ordered products made of a steel sheet are manufactured by mutually transferring stored slabs based on the order of rolling of the slab with a hot rolling mill and rolling the transferred slab, first, the slab which is the object of transference is selected (S1), the priority order of transference is imparted to the selected slab (S2), the propriety of the transference is decided from the slab given higher priority order (S3), the slab which is firstly transferable is taken as the slab of the object of transference. By repeatedly executing this procedure, the plural slabs of the object of transference corresponding to the plural slabs are decided and, next, the slabs of the object of transference are divided into grabbing lots with a crane (S4) so that these slabs of the object of transference are lined up in the rolling order at the time of charging into the heating furnace.</p> |
