A massage device is provided to massage the scalp by moving a facing surface of a first projection between a front end and a base end. A massage device(1) is composed of a driving unit(2) and a medical treatment unit(3) operated by the driving unit. The medical treatment unit comprises a base plate(4) made of flexible materials and plural projections protruded from the surface of the base plate across each other. A frame body(8) is installed at the driving unit to support the peripheral part of the base plate to the driving unit in a fixed state. A reciprocating unit(12) is installed at the driving unit to scratch the base plate across the surface of the base plate. If an amplitude direction of a maximum amplitude part of the base plate is set as a center axis, a first projection(5) has a facing surface(20) formed in a triangle, so that the front end is narrow and the portion connected to the base plate gets wider about the center axis.
