The disclosure includes a system and method for determining a degree of automaticity for a mobile system operation. The system includes a processor and a memory storing instructions that, when executed, cause the system to: receive sensor data from one or more sensors communicatively coupled to the processor, determine a current state of a mobile system based on the sensor data, determine that the current state of the mobile system is a candidate to be changed to a target state based on a comparison of the current state to the target state, and determine a degree of automaticity for an operation to change the current state of the mobile system to the target state. |
