A wrist wearable type electronic device is provided. According to an exemplary embodiment of the present invention, the wrist wearable type electronic device comprises: a main body to display at least one information on an upper surface of the main body; a band unit which has at least one terminal and a flexible battery unit embedded therein, and is coupled to one side of the main body; and a fixing unit configured to provide fixing force when the band unit is coupled to the main body. When the flexible battery unit generates heat at a temperature equal to or higher than a predetermined temperature, the fixing force of the fixing unit is released to separate the band unit from the main body. Therefore, the wrist wearable type electronic device can prevent a user from being burned due to a high temperature.
