DEVELOPING DEVICE, PROCESS UNIT, AND IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a developing device that can implement desirable image forming by preventing image density variation and loss.

SOLUTION: A pair of support members 50a and 50b each include a groove extending in directions toward and away from an image carrier 2, and an end of a developing roller 5 or a bearing for holding the end is inserted in each groove. At least one end 5b of the developing roller 5 or at least one bearing 34b is movable in the groove 55b where it is inserted in directions intersecting the directions toward and away from the image carrier.
