<p>Optical modulator for modulating a light coherent beam (2) by means of an optical signal (4). According to the invention, it comprises an optical cavity (3) composed of two glass substrates (8, 9) placed on top of one other, each carrying a three dimensional interferometric network. The coherent beam (2) is directed on a first surface of said cavity (3), while said modulating optical signal (4) is directed against this surface or against the opposite surface of the cavity, the modulator output signal being formed by said beam after it is reflected on said optical cavity (3).</p> |
