PURPOSE:To dispose information reading and recording means near a rotor by so disposing the stator coil of a brushless motor that the part in a circumferential direction is cut out, and moving the means in the cutout part. CONSTITUTION:A stator 21 has a plurality of salient poles 22, which are bent at the ends in L shape, disposed through a radial gap on the outer periphery of a driving magnet, and stator coils 24 are wound. The pole 22 and the coil 24 are not provided at the position where a head carriage is disposed to form a space 25 for the carriage. Thus, the carriage can be disposed near a rotor in the space 25. |
