The invention relates to the ferrous metallurgy and concerns the method and plant for reduction of nickel-iron oxide materials. The method is based on a stage-by-stage reduction of nickel and iron in the interval of temperatures of 1450-1600 DEGREE C in the closed reactor. The plant consists of mechanisms for the preliminary reprocessing the iron ore, rotation reducing reactor, vertical reactor which is equipped with additional metal storage device and plasmatrons. The technical result: high degree of oxides reduction, reducing expenses.
