<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a flexible substrate which has less disturbance in electromagnetic field in a connecting portion and has good transmission characteristic, and a small and inexpensive optical transmission module configured by connecting substrates using the flexible substrate. <P>SOLUTION: An electromagnetic field is confined between two substrates mounted with electronic components by using a three-layer flexible substrate, and a high-frequency signal is transmitted. Also, a cut portion is formed on a ground layer on the connecting portion of the three-layer flexible substrate to reduce the disturbance of the electromagnetic field, thereby improving transmission characteristic of the high-frequency signal. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
