PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a jointing structure for wooden building which can reduce the labor required for jointing a horizontal member such as beam, sill, etc. to a column by using a joint metal and, at the same time, can maintain the strengths of the column, etc. and building excellently. SOLUTION: In this jointing structure, the horizontal member 3 such has beam, sill, etc. is jointed to the column 2 by fixing a joint metal 1 composed of a shell section 1a consisting of a flat plate having a protruded hole section 1c for passing bolts 4 and a wing section 1b protruded from the shell section 1a to the column 2 with the bolts 4 and assembling the horizontal member 3 to the wing section 1b, and then, fixing the member 3 with pins 5. An assembling recessed section 2a in which the hole section 1c of the shell section 1a is put is formed on the column 2 and the metal 1 is accurately and firmly fixed to the column 2.
