A CCTV(Closed Circuit Television) transmission apparatus for twisted pair cables is provided to reduce costs required for wiring and pipe laying by using the twisted pair cable as a transmission path and power line of a CCTV system. A twisted pair cable(300) comprises N pairs. At least two or more twisted pair transmitters(100-1~100-4) receives direct power from the twisted pair cable, supplies the received direct power to video cameras(10-1~10-4) and transmits a video signal, inputted from the video camera, through the twisted pair cable. A twisted pair receiver(200) applies direct power to the twisted pair cable, compensates the video signal received from the twisted pair cable and transmits the compensated video signal to a monitor.
