A mobile electronic apparatus is provided to reduce a manufacturing cost by implementing a common electrode driver for generating common electrode drive signals in a semiconductor chip. A mobile electronic apparatus includes a display control device formed on a semiconductor chip. The display control device includes a memory(140), a driver, a data maintaining circuit, and a first register. The memory stores display data to be displayed in a display device. The driver drives the display device based on read data from the memory. The data maintaining circuit maintains display data to be written to the memory. The first register sets a set value used to set a writing mode on the memory. When the set value is a first set value, the writing mode is set to a first mode to write the display data stored in the data maintaining circuit in the memory per a bit unit. When the set value is a second set value different from the first set value, the writing mode is set to a second mode to write the display data stored in the data maintaining circuit in memory per n-times of the bit unit.
