PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate dismantling work and to save on a space for the device installation. SOLUTION: Ring-shaped members 8, 9 are disposed on the receiving side pipe body 2 and the inserting side pipe body 6 of the pipe joint respectively, and a hydraulic cylinder 10 is equipped between the ring-shaped members 8, 9. The ring-shaped member 9 disposed on the inserting side pipe body 6 has pockets 15, and each of the pockets 15 is fitted with an dismantling-wedge 16. When the entire length of this hydraulic cylinder 10 is contracted, at the same time the dismantling-wedge 16 is inserted into the clearance between both pipe bodies 2, 6 to release retaining. When the entire length of the hydraulic cylinder 10 is extended while retaining released, the inserting side pipe body 6 is pulled out from the receiving side pipe body 2 together with the dismantling-wedge 16. Thus, both of the expansion and the contraction of the hydraulic cylinder 10 contribute to a series of the work, and the stroke length of this hydraulic cylinder 10 is restricted further than ever before to facilitate the work.
