The present invention relates to a neutral position shield for a door handle fitting or door fitting for the purpose of operating a door and/or a door lock in a door in order to move a door handle or a spindle bar thereof to a neutral position, the shield comprising: - a cover element for covering a part of the door at the position of operation of the door and/or the door lock, - a door-side cavity in the cover element for arranging therein or having already arranged therein a neutral position assembly for arriving at the neutral position, - wherein the neutral position assembly is configured to move the door handle to the neutral position when it is situated in a position differing from the neutral position. The present invention also relates to a method for manufacturing a neutral position shield according to the present invention. |
