The present invention relates to a longitudinal road barrier segment for temporary use, comprising a longitudinal metal plate casing; at least one weight placed in the metal plate casing; a coupling protruding from the front end of the longitudinal metal plate casing; and a counter-coupling in the tail end from the longitudinal metal plate casing. The invention also relates to a method for coupling of such road barrier segments, comprising the method steps: A) placing a first road barrier segment; B) lifting a second road barrier segment above the coupling protruding from the first road barrier segment; and C) lowering the second road barrier segment.
