[Also in Division E2] In a hatch cover comprising a number of cross members 8 movable by wire 17, a cover section is hingedly connected, to each cross member, each cover section 11-15 is pivotably, connected to an adjacent cross member by a pair of links 23 and on pulling wire 17 the cover sections move to or from a substantially vertical stacked position at one side. In the embodiment described and shown, an end cover section 10 is provided between the cover sections 11-15 and side 2 and connected thereto by links 21, and the wire 17 is connected to the cross member furthest from side 2. Each cover section except end section 10 is provided with wheels 24 engageable with ramp 25. |
