PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To link TV broadcasting with web contents so as to meet TV media characteristics and further to prevent the viewing of the TV broadcasting from being interrupted.

SOLUTION: When needed information is broadcasted on a TV receiver 10, a viewer 14 instructs to preform clipping with a remote controller 13. The instruction is transmitted to a broadcasting station 17 as a time ID showing the time when the information is clipped together with a user ID. The broadcasting station 17 retrieves broadcast contents corresponding to the time ID from a DB 19, and also retrieves the URI of the contents of the Internet related to the contents. The URL is described in e-mail to be transmitted to an address corresponding to the user ID. The e-mail is received by the viewer 14 with a personal computer 21, etc. The viewer 14 can browse and acquire contents on the Internet on the basis of the URI described in the e-mail. It is possible to acquire the related contents on the Internet without interrupting the viewing of the TV broadcasting.
