PURPOSE:To display the completion of distance measurement with a simple mechanism on the same display device of a camera equipped with an autofocus device, by using a battery output voltage display device, etc., in common. CONSTITUTION:When a release button is pressed, the voltage of voltage-dividing circuits R1 and R2 connected to a battery VB is compared with a reference voltage by a comparator. When the battery voltage is higher than a prescribed value, the comparator generates an H-level output and when lower, it generates an L-level output. The output of a distance measurement part DM, on the other hand, is at a level L during the distance measurement and at a level H after the distance measurement. Therefore, a display device L1 is driven by an AND gate A1 and a transistor TR1 and lit up only when the voltage of the battery VV reaches the prescribed level and the distance measurement is completed. Thus, the completion of the distance measurement is displayed on the same display device easily. Further, the completion of the distance measurement is displayed by using a low-brightness warning display device, etc., in common. |
