In order to stimulate a user of a training machine, such as an ergometer bicycle, to carry out the exercise in a correct manner despite the monotonous work involved and even to achieve an increased activity, a parameter is recorded on the machine which is proportional to the activity of the user. This parameter, via a regulating system, is back-coupled to a monitor in front of the user. |
