PURPOSE:To reduce contact resistance by forming highly conductive metal thin films on the surfaces of a current collector and a sintered polarizable electrode and bringing them into contact therewith. CONSTITUTION:Metal such as gold, silver, platinum, copper, nickel, etc., is deposited on the surfaces of a current collector 1 and a sintered polarizable electrode 2 at such positions as being brought into contact each other thus forming highly conductive metal thin films 5, 6. Thus, the films 5, 6 stick firmly to activated charcoal particles on the surfaces of the collector 1 and the electrode 2 thus reducing the contact resistance remarkably. |
